Patterns You are here

My method for creating the Kyuubi a.k.a. “Cubey” for ~Kaie13. Be free, and use your own techniques in some areas if you don’t wanna do my thing. I’m happy to hear suggestions of different ways of covering things. I’m not an expert seamstress, so my usage of glue and such reflects that. It’s my goal to make more complicated patterns, so sit back and relax like me while I wait for the ability to suddenly hit me. :XD:

My Habit: I abhor paper pattern pieces. I print them and cut them out, but then I trace them onto some sturdier material, say cardboard or poster board. When I cut out these pattern pieces they’re beautiful and sturdier! I can’t do and refuse that weird pinning-the-paper thing, which I find inaccurate.
These patterns don’t last forever, but they last a heck of a lot longer. And thanks to them, I can whip up another of copy of any plush later! (Still planning my own giant Timcampy.)

And repeated: This tutorial is for personal, non-profit use only. The Kyuubi belongs to Naruto—this is a fan project.

Please credit if you use this tutorial, and I would really love to see any finished products! Comments or questions?

I was just wondering what the hell I was gonna copy this onto, but then I remembered! I have a shitload of leftover cardboard that I'd salvaged to make my Keyblade! 8D ....I ended up only needing one shoebox, though. /fails

...recycling is more useful than normal when it involves arts and crafts.....
